Impulse Therapy is an adjusting and massaging system with a motion sensor in the tip of the instrument that measures how well your spinal joints are moving. It was designed to deliver gentle, precise adjustments to the spine, the extremities and the muscles alongside the spine.
Instead of a forceful twist, each adjustment is a quick, low-force tap. You may hear a soft release of gas from the joint, which relieves pressure.
What It Is Used For
- Neck, mid-back and low-back stiffness and misalignment
- Support for herniated and bulging disc care
- Spinal and foraminal narrowing, as part of a broader plan
- Shoulder, hip, knee and other joint mobility
- Muscle tension along the spine
Part of Your Whole Plan
At All-Natural Healing, Impulse adjustments are included in the Holistic Tune-Up and are used alongside cervical and lumbar traction and vibration-plate therapy in our Biopuncture and Prolopuncture protocols.
Is It Comfortable?
Yes. The instrument has adjustable force levels, so Dr. House can match the intensity to you, from very light to firm. Most patients describe it as gentle and relaxing.
Common Questions
Does Impulse Therapy hurt?
No. It is a low-force, low-amplitude tap, and the force level is set for your comfort.
Is it the same as chiropractic?
It is a different tool for a similar goal. Dr. House uses it as one piece of a whole-body plan, not as a stand-alone cure.
